Art Deco 5.07 Carat Ceylon Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1920A sublime antique sapphire solitaire ring. The sapphire in the centre certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sir Lanka) displays a rich and vivid blue with an even saturation. The stone is secured in a beautiful platinum collet featuring six split claws and fine curved detailing in the gallery. Ten (five each side) eight cut diamonds are set in the milgrained shoulders leading to a slender platinum shank. Currently size M 1 2 (UK)
